BJC is looking for a Clinical Quality Program Manager! Overview Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Leads and integrates large-scale, enterprise-level clinical quality programs across service-lines, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and value-based care initiatives. Oversees cross-functional program teams and drives transformation through structured methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities Direct and manage multiple complex quality improvement programs that span departments and impact clinical outcomes, regulatory readiness, and financial performance through goal alignment with systemwide strategic priorities, population health objectives, and external benchmarks. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and department-level quality teams, translating strategic vision into actionable program plans by facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration among physicians, executives, operational leaders, and analytics team to ensure timely execution of program deliverables. Prepare executive summaries, board reports, and documentation for internal and external audits. Lead root cause analysis and high-reliability interventions for underperforming metrics. Develop strategies to track progress, identify risks, and measure impact across clinical quality domains. Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
