Job Description

Director of Quality Services Quality Services Full-Time Basic Purpose:
This position directs multiple facility-wide functions, including performance improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and patient experience. The Director of Quality Services coordinates all customer satisfaction, infection prevention, peer review, quality, and core measures data collection and provides analysis, consultation and education to leadership, medical staff and hospital staff to ensure continuous quality improvement and an excellent patient experience. Promotes the organization's mission, vision, and cultural values. The role will lead a variety of initiatives intended to achieve, maintain and maximize a robust process improvement culture.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. A master's degree in healthcare administration or any business-related master's degree is preferred.
Licensure:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi.
Experience:
Three to five years of successful leadership experience managing employees and processes is required.
Special Skills:
A successful clinical director has the ability to lead people while still caring deeply for their patients; ensures the budget meets the financial goals of the organization while maintaining necessary supplies and software; and ensures repairs or replacements are handled quickly. Must be proficient with computer skills. Ability to multitask and maintain excellent time management and organizational skills. Requires someone with vision, who seeks growth and challenges.
Language/Communication/Organizational Skills:
Manifests strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to interact well with others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations and written materials for a variety of audiences and multiple venues. Must demonstrate effective customer relations skills and promote a positive work environment. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to conduct statistical analysis. Compute, rate, ratio and percent, develop and interpret graphs. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
