Job Overview:
The Quality and Standards Manager will assist in developing an organizational culture of quality care, patient safety, performance improvement and regulatory readiness.
Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate from an accredited Baccalaureate degree program in relevant field Minimum 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting Detail-oriented with attention to follow-up Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Preferred:
Experience in a behavioral health setting Experience with PI and data collection/analysis Proficiency in
Excel Certifications and Licenses Required:
Current NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license
Scheduling Requirements FT Day Shift Essential Functions:
Utilizes a variety of data reports to measure, analyze and improve clinical quality and outcomes Keeps current with and communicates all regulatory compliance changes Incorporates findings into all patient safety and quality improvement activities accordingly Facilitates Root Case Analysis (RCA) and Apparent Cause Analysis (ACA) process and assists with implementation of action plans Participates/leads multidisciplinary task forces to plan, implement, and evaluate process changes designed to improve compliance with HBIPS Facilitates/leads the Safety Coach program Assists medical staff through the Peer Review process and actively supports High Reliability initiatives within the organization Ensures the facility is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations Provides education to clinical and ancillary staff within the organization to help achieve department goals
