Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Lead the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with
IATF 16949, ISO
standards, and customer requirements. Develop and execute quality strategies, objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives that support business goals and operational excellence. Serve as the site authority on quality, product safety, risk management, and customer quality concerns. Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality improvement projects to reduce defects and improve performance. Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver safe, high-quality products and services. Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Energy (EHS&E) requirements while promoting a culture of safety and accountability. Analyze quality and operational data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and support data-driven decision making. Lead audits, customer visits, certification activities, and regulatory compliance efforts. Manage quality budgets, resources, and performance metrics. Coach, mentor, and develop quality team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Serve as a key member of the site leadership team, providing strategic direction and business support. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of
IATF 16949, ISO
standards, quality systems, auditing, and regulatory compliance. Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage risk, solve complex problems, and influence cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead change, develop teams, and drive a culture of accountability and customer focus. Preferred Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience with automotive, industrial, or highly regulated manufacturing environments. Proven success leading customer quality initiatives and product safety programs.
