$23 The ultimate connector role. YOU help families get the resources they need to thrive! This is a community-facing position where no two days look the same. You'll be out in the neighborhoods, meeting people where they are, and making sure they have access to essential support—health insurance, food, housing, and quality care.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
You will work directly with families and individuals to help them navigate key social and health systems, expanding their capacity to access critical resources. You will assist community members in applying electronically for AHCCCS (Health-e-Arizona PLUS), SNAP (formerly Food Stamps), and make referrals to additional support organizations as needed. You will help families understand, apply, and enroll in health coverage through the Marketplace. You will facilitate screenings, workshops, and health education activities that encourage behavior change and improved well-being. You will serve as an information hub for Keogh constituents and support outreach efforts to strengthen Keogh's impact within the community.WHO YOU ARE?
You are passionate about helping people overcome barriers, and you enjoy working directly with diverse communities. You are bilingual, resourceful, empathetic, and skilled at building trust. You excel in fast-moving environments, can balance multiple priorities, and communicate clearly across cultural and linguistic contexts.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing), with the ability to easily transition between both languages. Knowledge of local population demographics, strengths, needs, and community assets. Understanding of health insurance programs such as Medicaid, KidsCare, and the Marketplace. Ability to travel to multiple community locations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and accurate typing. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up and follow through. Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during times of stress or high activity. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Collaborative spirit with the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team. Compassionate and professional interpersonal style when interacting with community members, families, coworkers, external partners, and diverse stakeholders.REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSING
