Job Alerts Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) At least three (3) years of experience in a medical or behavioral health
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-S) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Texas.
Job Summary:
Provides oversight of social work activities in assigned setting(s) to ensure that services are provided efficiently, appropriately, and in a timely manner. Duties include supervision of staff to ensure adherence to departmental guidelines. The Social Work Team Lead may carry an assigned caseload or provide regular coverage for team vacancies and leave occurrences.
Job Duties:
Assesses the skills base of assigned staff and provides individualized training or assists with other training opportunities Ensures that new personnel complete orientation requirements and documents competency Communicate with manager regarding staff development or training needs and disciplinary concerns Participates on interdisciplinary committees within the institution Collaborates with the manager to set goals and plan the direction of the department Facilitates implementation of policies and programs Serves as a resource and role model for staff Actively participates in social work practice activities
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrates specialized knowledge and skills for effective clinical intervention with individuals, families, and groups Maintains access to professional supervision and/or consultation. Consistently communicates in a professional and courteous manner.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
On-site, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
