Respite Provider General information Date Thursday, June 25, 2026 Location WI - Bloomer Position Level Individual Contributor I Employment Type Part time Career Field Caregiver Pay Type Hourly Description & Requirements If you would like more information about our company, you can visit our website here: Who We Are - CDWI This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are looking for an engaging Respite Provider to hang out with an awesome middle school boy! This child loves playing games on the computer, riding his scooter, swimming, and playing soccer. He also enjoys going out into the community and learning new things. Respite care will be conducted in the provider's (your) home or in the child's home. Community outings are also encouraged.
Hours:
  • 8 hours a week.
  • 6 days per month.
Pay:
  • $14.13/hour (shifts under 8 hours)
  • $207.
45/day (shifts over 8 hours)
Schedule:
  • Flexible schedule - to be discussed and determined between provider and family.
  • Typically during afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Tasks:
  • Supervision and Safety Awareness
  • Building Life Skills, Confidence, and Independence
  • Modeling Positive Behaviors
  • Companionship and Social Engagement
  • Provide transportation to/from community activities
  • Engage with client and encourage appropriate behaviors.
Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Criminal/Caregiver background check
