Job Description

Eastern Idaho Public Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative / Clerical to support operations at our Driggs Office (Teton County, ID). This position provides a wide range of administrative and customer service duties with a focus on public health programs. It requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with sound judgment.

Driggs, Idaho (Teton County)
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 32 hours/week
Position Type:
Full-Time What You'll Do:
Greet and assist clients in a professional, welcoming manner Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately Schedule and confirm appointments per clinic workflow and program guidelines Enroll clients in eligible programs and verify completion of required documentation Collect payments and donations, issue receipts, reconcile daily funds, and prepare deposits Maintain accurate electronic records and data entry across multiple systems Assist with supply inventory, ordering, and reporting Support offsite clinics and community outreach events as needed Serve as the primary contact for facility maintenance needs
What We're Looking For:
Good knowledge of business English, grammar, and phone etiquette Ability to work with the public and provide excellent customer service Experience applying policies, handling complaints, and using computerized systems Familiarity with health-related office procedures is a plus Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish)
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably in a health or human services setting Competency with Microsoft Office and data entry platforms
EMERGENCY RESPONSE ROLE
Employees of Eastern Idaho Public Health serve in an Emergency Response Role and may be requested to respond to public health threats or emergencies in accordance with the District's Public Health Preparedness Plan.
