Cytotechnologist I Redlands, CA Job Details Per diem $46.16 - $66.93 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Ultrasound imaging Word processing Mid-level Quality assurance Laboratory information systems (LIS) Cytotechnology Full Job Description Reporting to the Histology/Cytology Section Head, this position performs cytologic evaluation of non-gynecological slide preparations, in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, for the presence of malignancy and/or other abnormal disease processes. The cytotechnologist will also be responsible for assisting the pathologist/physician in thyroid fine needle aspiration adequacy, as well as Rapid On-site Evaluation from Endobronchial Ultrasound procedures. In addition, maintains diagnostic reports, quality assurance and procedure manual. Ability to meet all job physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current California Cytotechnologist license required. Experience in non-GYN screening. Word processor, spreadsheet and Laboratory Information Systems knowledge. Experience assisting with Fine Needle Aspirations and Rapid On-site Evaluations.
