Join our fast-paced laboratory team! Reliance Pathology Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Cytoprep Laboratory Assistant to support our cytology department. This position is responsible for receiving and preparing specimens, performing stains, and assisting with slide preparation for cytotechnologist review.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and accession cytology specimens. Perform gross description and assign case numbers. Prepare, stain, and cover-slip slides. Assist with cell block preparation from fluids and FNAs. Maintain equipment logs, clean work areas, and follow safety protocols. Collaborate with the cytotechnologist to ensure stain quality. Why Join Us? Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior lab or cytology experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and data entry skills. Ability to follow protocols and work with biological specimens. Team player with good communication and organizational skills.
