50 based on experience, full benefits plus a $5,000 sign on bonus
REQUIREMENTS
Completion of 12-month CAAHEP accredited Cytotechnology program
  • new grads welcome ASCP certified Cytotechnologist Minimum of 1 year of Cytotechnology experience preferred but welcome new graduates Hospital experience is a plus
JOB DESCRIPTION
This Cytotechnologist responsibilities to include but by not be limited to: Review documentation and reports, address abnormal results, troubleshoot technical and methodology issues, and resolve specimen handling problems. Oversee daily operations within the assigned laboratory section, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate specimen processing Serve as a member of the Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) team providing on site adequacy evaluation of FNA procedures. Collaborate with the Pathologist for adequate evaluation and sample preparation, ensuring appropriate labeling of specimens and slides. Facilitate inventory management, ensuring that supplies are maintained and resolving any supply-related issues as they arise. Prior2 Favorite may use AI in its hiring processes.
