Position Overview:
The phlebotomy supervisor is responsible for oversight of the Occ Health drug testing / phlebotomy staff operations. Oversees the work of the team, making certain that all areas under his/her responsibility are covered and all policies and procedures are adhered to.

Education Qualifications:
Required:
High school graduate or equivalent
Preferred :
course work in biology and chemistry
Required :
Display ability to read and understand written data
Required:
Display good verbal communication skills and Data entry skills
Certification Qualifications:
Required:
Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology, or 3 years of hospital phlebotomy experience or equivalent
Required:
Federal Drug and Alcohol certification within 3 weeks of hire.
Required:
Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification within 3 months of hire
Experience Qualifications:
Minimum of two years phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting with demonstrated advanced skill in venipuncture. Experience in data entry and medical terminology.

The pay range for this position is $23.80 - 35.70 per hour.
