July - June (12 mo) Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities This positions proctors tests for accommodations testing, placement testing, etc.; distributes examination materials to candidates monitors test rooms and helps to enforce time limits and compliance with other examination; procedures to ensure a secure testing environment; collects, checks, and counts examination materials; reports rule violations and/or unusual occurrences during examinations to supervisor; checks identification of testers; Notifies appropriate personnel when test equipment malfunctions occur; may read test and instructions to candidates and serve as a scribe for testing; may transport highly confidential test materials from one location to another; may perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, processing correspondence, maintaining files, and distributing mail; performs other duties as assigned.
Ability to:
Follow written and oral instructions; give clear and concise instructions; meet and deal with testers tactfully and courteously while enforcing examination rules and procedures; communicate effectively orally and in writing; keep information confidential; maintain accurate records; learn general and specialized software applications. Minimum Required Education Bachelors degree required.
