Dental Assistant

• Job Summary:

• We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental office. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with children and engaging with families. A compassionate nature and an efficient work ethic are required. We have room for a full or part time team member.

• Duties:

• Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, and seating them
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed

• Skills:

• Proficiency in dental assisting techniques
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Familiarity with X-Ray procedures and equipment
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
