Dental Assisting Instructor - Birmingham, AL

We are in need of a Dental Assisting Instructor to join the team at our Birmingham, AL location hosted at MST Dental-Birmingham. This includes clinical teaching on some Saturdays during 10 week courses. Are you a Dental Assistant? Do you naturally connect with others? Are you motivated by making an influence in others' lives? The responsibilities you would be held accountable for are listed below: Prepare to facilitate class by reviewing and understanding the clinic stations. Prepare the dental office for class by setting up clinic stations. Facilitate clinic sessions by executing class checklists and completing each task in its entirety. Record grades, attendance and evaluations in the learning management system. Manage all classroom situations.

Position Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively with students
• Positive, fun, and caring attitude
• HS Diploma, Dental Training Certificates are beneficial but not required & 2 years of clinical experience as a dental assistant
• CPR certified
