Job Description

About us 479 Dental Care is a small business in Bentonville, AR. We are 100% owned by our kind and supportive dentist Dr. Grant. We are believe in supporting our team, and we provide paid team building opportunities every month. We love to have fun at work while also working hard and providing a great, comforting experience for our patients. We work Monday-Wednesday 8-5pm with 1 hour lunch break. We also work every other Thursday 8-2pm with no lunch break.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist our awesome dentist Dr. Grant during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
  • Treatment presenting
  • Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures
  • Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices
  • Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Open Dental)
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual highly preferred (English/Spanish) Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
