Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients. This role involves assisting the dentist during treatments, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including general dentistry and endodontics. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use. Take and develop X-rays as needed for patient assessments. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with clinic protocols. Manage appointment scheduling, including coordinating with the dental receptionist for optimal patient flow. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall patient experience. Qualifications Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health is preferred. Familiarity with medical documentation systems, particularly Epic or similar software. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous. Proficiency in managing medical records accurately. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care. Certification as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
