Dental assistants should be organized along with great attention for details. Our assistant will need to be able to follow instructions and respect dental office guidelines. Our assistant should be highly motivated and skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. We preferred someone that can speak Spanish. If this seems like a good fit for you, please apply today and give us a call at (479) 484-0008 $15-21 an hour depending on experience Responsibilities Prepare patients for oral examination and assist dental providers in chair-side treatment and procedures. Prepare rooms and set up instruments. Taking records, impressions, or x-rays Provide pre-operational, post-operational, and oral hygiene education to patients and families. Prepare and maintain accurate charts, records, logs and reports Complete and maintain dental laboratory forms Some front desk responsibilities Other duties as assigned Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Positive attitude and outlook Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Good computer skills High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)
