Candidates must have dental assisting experience and be an energetic, focused, hard-working team player with an optimistic and positive attitude! Only qualified candidates will be considered. Days of work will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Benefits like, 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, employee discounts are available after service requirements are met.
MUST PROVIDE A RESUME AND REFERENCES WITH PREVIOUS DENTAL EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED AS AN APPLICANT.
Duties Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment adheres to infection control protocols. Assist dentists during various procedures such as cleanings, restorations, crowns, endodontics, prosthodontics, implants and pediatric dentistry treatments. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology like 3D scanners, maintaining accuracy and patient safety. Manage patient records efficiently using Eaglesoft electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times. Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear field during procedures. Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote ongoing dental health. Skills Proficiency with dental software systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or similar EMR platforms. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Experience with medical documentation, coding procedures for insurance claims, and managing medical records. Skilled in taking X-rays and operating medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners. Work with patients in a compassionate manner. Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently alongside dentists for streamlined patient care. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times. Excellent communication skills when scheduling appointments or answering patient inquiries.Expected hours:
