In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care across various dental procedures. Your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality oral surgery treatments. As an RDA, you will play a key part in maintaining a welcoming environment while adhering to strict infection control and safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a patient-focused setting. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during oral surgery procedures Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic techniques are followed to maintain infection control standards Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging and 3D scans, while ensuring patient safety and comfort Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform vital signs assessments and document medical history to support comprehensive patient care Support four-handed dentistry practices by efficiently passing instruments and maintaining a smooth workflow during procedures Skills Proficiency with EMR systems such as Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Experience with dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners for accurate diagnostics Ability to perform chairside assisting with competence in medical coding and documentation for insurance purposes Excellent communication skills suitable for interacting with patients of all ages, Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding dental care while fostering your professional growth.
