Job Description

We are in search of an enthusiastic, talented and
COMPASSIONATE
Dental Assistant/Treatment Coordinator to join our growing dental family. We are a private, family-owned dental practice in the heart of Casa Grande, Arizona. We are focused on patient care and patient experience. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly person to join our team as soon as possible. We are looking for that unicorn of a person that can not only be an amazing chairside dental assistant, but can also double as a treatment coordinator. For treatment coordination, specific duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Create and present treatment plans to patients, close, collect and schedule treatment appointments.
  • Understanding of insurance benefit breakdown forms and other patients forms For dental assisting: Job Overview You will support dentists in providing top-tier patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Your expertise in dental procedures, patient communication, and clinical support will help create confident smiles and foster lasting patient relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, friendly setting dedicated to excellence in general and specialty dentistry. Duties Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic techniques are meticulously followed to uphold infection control standards. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, etc. Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging, including 3D scans when applicable, accurately documenting findings for diagnosis. Manage electronic medical records through Dentrix efficiently, ensuring all patient information complies with HIPAA regulations. Support patients by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing questions to foster comfort and trust. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and assisting the dental receptionist with patient check-in/out processes. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by following infection control protocols and proper waste disposal procedures. Experience Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge is essential for effective communication and procedure support. Hands-on experience with dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry practices, and aseptic technique is required. Familiarity with Dentrix. Knowledge of infection control practices, medical coding, and proper handling of medical records ensures compliance with industry standards. Full scope of general and speciality work offered with all the latest technologies including CBCT, CEREC, iTero and trios scanner.
