Experience & Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with state regulations Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance Help create a calm, positive experience for pediatric patients Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience a plus Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and safety protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor Dental assistant certification per state requirements preferred Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
