Individual must be reliable and committed to patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
setup procedural rooms assist in patient care maintain inventory collaborate with labs cross train with and backup front office assist clinicians in obtaining and maintaining patient histories complete x-rays and intra-oral photos when appropriate educate patients and work independently with patient care following procedures ensure the sterility of instruments and operatory before subsequent patients arrive actively deliver compassionate care by striving to keep patients focused on the best possible treatment perform daily, weekly and/or monthly maintenance on dental equipment maintain compliance with state, federal, and other regulations
Qualifications and Requirements:
Dental or Medical Assistant training X-ray certification preferred knowledge of basic office equipment including printer, copier, scanner, phone, fax, and computer background and experience with computers/typing and using various software suites including Microsoft, Google, and EHR/PM applications positive and professional attitude and excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills strong organizational, task, and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion self-motivated multi-tasker, problem-solver, and team player, with the ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with others ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time arrival to work as scheduled knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols, as well as HIPAA and safety guidelines compassionate and ready to provide excellent patient care bilingual a plus
