We are fairly well-established and have the kindest patients we could ask for many who we've been seeing for several years. We are at the intersection of Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. We are looking to hire a motivated, team player who is eager to learn. We are happy to train either an experienced assistant or a new grad. Our dental assistant must be personable, professional and dependable. We only keep one chairside assistant on staff, so reliability is of the utmost importance to us. We prefer a small efficient team, and we believe in setting expectations for team members then allowing them to create their own systems for the fulfillment of those expectations. We encourage creativity with staff; which has proven to be a formula for satisfaction and success within our practice. Responsibilities Warmly greet and interact with patients Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort Assist the dentist with all chairside duties Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Sterilize instruments according to regulations Undertake lab tasks as instructed Maintain accurate patient records Requirements X-ray Certification Familiar with Dentrix or similar dental software Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
