Icon Orthodontics is looking to expand our team at our privately owned practices in Surprise and Glendale, Arizona. We are a growing company with multiple locations. We offer competitive pay ($22-$25/hour) and are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience. As a clinical assistant, you would assist the doctor with patient care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES

(including, but not limited to): o Cleaning and preparation of units/chairs before each patient. o Greet and seat patients, never leaving a seated patient unattended. o Anticipate and assist the orthodontist's needs at all times. o Charting of patient procedures to include charges (if applicable), procedure and length of time for next visit. o Dismissal of patient and explanation of procedure to parent with review of progress. Minimum 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience preferred . Candidate must be able to travel between Surprise and Glendale.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

o Radiographs certification to include panoramic, cephalometric film o Placement and removal of separator o Checking all patient appliances prior to adjustment or wire changes o Intraoral and extraoral photographs o Changing arch wires or elastic ties o Deliver retainers and other removable appliances. o Adjustment of removable appliances o Banding and bonding procedures o Debanding/debonding procedures o Removal of bonding materials o Documentation of all communication and procedures in patient chart
