Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for various treatments. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical records systems. Record vital signs and update patient information accurately. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental practice. Provide support in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory. Skills Proficient in medical terminology and dental terminology to facilitate effective communication within the team. Experience with dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry practices.
