In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care by supporting dentists during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital X-ray machines while maintaining proper safety standards. Manage patient records efficiently , ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing patient questions with professionalism and empathy. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation Maintain a clean, sterile environment by following aseptic techniques, infection control standards, and proper disposal of contaminated materials. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. New graduates willing to learn are welcome. Proficiency in dental software systems such as softdent and dexis or experience is a plus. Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines safely and effectively. Knowledge of dental terminology and records management for accurate documentation. Familiarity with endodontic and surgical dentistry procedures pediatric patients is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills .
