Dental Assistant DA for Dental office in Arcadia, CA.

Solo private general dentistry office. We are looking for a back dental assistant to join our team. Monday - Thursday.

Mondays:

9am-6pm, 1 hour lunch

Tuesdays:

9am-4pm, 1 hour lunch

Wednesday & Thursday:

8am - 5pm, 1 hour lunch. Flexible on days as Tuesday can be an option. Knowledge in general dentistry including implants, Invisalign, and Dentrix are a plus. Candidate must be a team player, finish task timely, detail oriented, able to take digital radiograph, and love customer service. We are looking for a long term person who is proactive in their job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the dentist during various procedures Open and close the back office as instructed Prepare trays for various procedures Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments Assist with making appointments and answering phone calls Make the patients feel at ease while undergoing treatment

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a current

Dental Assistant Certificate Current CPR License Radiation Safety Certificate Requires:

Successfully complete a California Board-approved radiation safety course which includes theory and clinical application in radiographic technique, or Certificate Arcadia, CA An Unlicensed Dental Assistant may perform basic supportive dental procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist. The employer is responsible for ensuring dental assistants maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and that all dental assistants in continuous employment for 120 days or more have proof of completing all of the following within a year from date of employment: 1. A California Board-approved 2-hour course in the California Dental Practice Act, AND 2. A California Board-approved 8-hour course in infection control, AND 3. An American Heart Association or American Red Cross-approved course in BLS which includes hands-on simulated clinical scenarios.

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
