Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join us at our specialty Endodontic practice at Coastal Endodontic Studio . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the office. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the Endodontist and contribute to creating a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency. Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required during procedures. Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices. Experience with 3D scanners and X-ray equipment is desirable. Strong understanding of dental anatomy and general dentistry principles. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
