Duties:

• Small PPO office looking for a new team member! Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Take and record vital signs of patients
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Take impressions and X-rays of patients' teeth
• Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming trays
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar software
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations

Requirements:

• Dental assisting certification or relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Proficient in medical documentation and coding
• Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
