Working closely with our pediatric providers and team, you will use your clinical skills and a compassionate approach to help children feel at ease while supporting the delivery of quality dental care. This position requires strong technical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with children. The ideal candidate is patient, able to build trust with both kids and their parents to ensure every visit is smooth, educational, and stress-free.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Patients for treatment or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Take digital X-rays as needed
Requirements:
Knowledge of dental terminology, dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Computer skills Excellent communication Team player Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma X-ray certificate required Additional certification or training is a plus
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day Ability to twist and turn, if needed Repetitive Motion (hands) Handling (grasping, holding) Lifting/Carrying (up to 10lbs) Pushing/Pulling (up to 10lbs)
Schedule:
4 days per week, 10 hours a day
Sunday-Wednesday Compensation :
Depending on experience and licensing
Range:
$17.50-$27.00 + bonus opportunity
Pay:
$17.50 - $27.00 per hour
