Job Summary
PRIVATE PRACTICE.
We provide general, specialty and implant care. Convenient hours and excellent salary , (range based on experience and skill set). We are seeking a skilled RDA who enjoys patient care, thrives in a fast paced setting and strives to learn, grow and improve. Our goal is to provide quality care in a calm and professional environment where patients and staff feel valued. Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Implant and ortho skills are a bonus! Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials while maintaining strict aseptic techniques. Take quality digital X-rays and other medical images, (cone beam) ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Manage patient records using systems such as Dentrix ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with patient intake by recording vital signs and medical history, and explain procedures clearly to ensure patient comfort. Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean clinical environment. Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team including hygiene and admin teams. Use dental terminology accurately when documenting procedures or communicating with team members. Operate advanced equipment like 3D scanners and medical imaging devices to aid diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide help in other departments as needed to ensure smooth and efficient flow of work. Experience 3 years minimum working experience as an RDA. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records and patient privacy is essential. Hands-on experience with X-ray techniques, medical imaging, and vital signs monitoring required. Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures across general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry disciplines. Ability to demonstrate excellent infection control practices and aseptic techniques consistently. Competence in dental documentation, coding practices related to dental procedures, and familiarity with anatomy knowledge relevant to dental care is preferred.
