The ideal candidate will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure infection control, and support patient care in a fast-paced pediatric dental environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced dental technology and collaborate with experienced professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality dental services. The Registered Dental Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining efficient clinic operations while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, with emphasis pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are met Take X-rays, including 3D scans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols Record vital signs and medical history information accurately using EMR systems. Log/ enter medical documentation and records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Maintain clinical supplies, sterilize instruments, and ensure the operatory is clean and organized Assist with medical imaging procedures and understand dental terminology for effective communication within the team Perform four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures Support pediatric patients with specialized care techniques Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Proven experience in dental assisting within a general or pediatric dentistry setting Proficiency with EMR systems such as OpenDental. Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, anatomy, dental terminology, and medical terminology Strong understanding of dental specialties including prosthodontics and endodontics & pediatric procedures Excellent chairside assisting skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality Effective communication skills with patients of all ages, including pediatrics Ability to work well within a team while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills directly contribute to improving patients' oral health.
