Summary:

The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists the doctor in orthodontic procedures
• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays and orthodontic records
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Setup and prepares rooms for orthodontic care
• Take IO's
• Charting Education and/or

Experience:

• RDA or AO with ortho experience a must

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• California Registered Dental Assistant License or DO Ortho Certificate
• X-Ray Certification
• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification

INDSW Pay:

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
