The ideal candidate is upbeat, reliable , and comfortable working with children and teens , in a team oriented environment. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures ensuring smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining strict infection control protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety standards for patient and staff. Manage patient records efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy in documentation of medical history, treatment plans. Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and well-being. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Skills Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for seamless management of medical records and documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile clinical environment. Experience with dental assisting procedures Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices to provide compassionate care tailored to children's needs. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Understanding of dental terminology related to dental procedures and the ability to document accurately.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
