Job Description

Company is open to assisting relocation to location or commutable distance.
Duties:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take digital dental x-rays
  • Prepare and maintain dental supplies and materials inventory
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records using Epic software
  • Assist with medical coding and documentation for insurance billing purposes
  • Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
  • Provide specialized care for pediatric patients
Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred
  • X-ray certification required
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus
  • Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices
  • Experience working with Epic or other electronic medical records systems is preferred We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team.
