Job Description
Overview At The Smile Spa, we don't just treat teeth, we care for people. Our practice is a state-of-the-art full-scope dental office where we combine advanced surgery, endodontics, and cosmetics focused on creating a luxurious dental experience. We are looking for a friendly, positive, and eager-to-learn Dental Assistant to join our team three days a week. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to learn from some of the best in the industry (including IV sedation and full-mouth rehabilitations), we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Assist our doctors chairside during a wide range of procedures, including surgeries, implants, endodontics, and high-end cosmetic makeovers. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using aseptic techniques Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), including digital imaging and 3D scans, adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Manage patient records using Dentrix, ensuring accurate medical documentation and coding for insurance purposes Educate patients on oral health care instructions and post-treatment care while demonstrating excellent communication skills Help our patients feel comfortable in our massage chairs and ensure they have a relaxing, stress-free experience. What We're Looking For At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is required. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside support. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A friendly, upbeat, and positive "can-do" spirit. We value a candidate who is willing to learn and grow with the office. Bilingual is a major plus, but not required!
