In this role, you'll help create a positive and comfortable experience for children and families while supporting the doctor in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Provide chairside support using four-handed dentistry techniques Help patients feel comfortable and at ease during appointments Take and develop dental X-rays (if licensed/certified) Accurately maintain patient charts and clinical documentation Follow all infection control, sterilization, and HIPAA protocols Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout treatment Support a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Pediatric dental experience is a plus Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization practices X-ray certification preferred (if required by state regulations) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Passion for working with children and providing compassionate care What We Offer Competitive pay Supportive and team-oriented environment Opportunities for growth and continued learning A rewarding career helping children build healthy smiles
