We are expanding and looking for a friendly, reliable Dental Assistant to join our team on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing practice where teamwork, professionalism, and patient care are top priorities. Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and tray setups Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Take diagnostic-quality radiographs (once certified) Record patient medical histories, dental notes, and vital signs Prepare and educate patients for treatment Maintain accurate, confidential patient records Follow all office policies, procedures, and OSHA/Cal-OSHA guidelines Support front and back office workflow as needed Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient work environment Requirements Current CPR/BLS certification California X-ray license (Radiation Safety Certificate) Knowledge of infection control and standard sterilization procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and able to follow established protocols Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Spanish speaking is a plus but not required Schedule Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays Part-time position About Us Hillcrest Dental Studio is a small, growing office committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences in a warm, modern environment.
