In this energetic and rewarding position, you will support dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and safety. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for. Duties Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials following aseptic techniques Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring proper radiation safety protocols are followed Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic to ensure accurate medical documentation Perform vital signs assessments and record medical history to support comprehensive patient care Maintain infection control standards by adhering to HIPAA regulations and sterilization procedures Support dental reception duties by scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and managing medical records Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic; familiarity with medical coding and documentation is a plus Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic technique in a clinical environment Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with children is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages, including pediatrics Certification in chairside assisting or dental assisting from an accredited program is preferred Join us in making a difference by providing top-quality dental care in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
