In this role, you will provide essential support across multiple dental procedures and clinic areas, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care. Looking for Tuesdays Wednesday and Thursdays Responsibilities Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-ray), operate medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners, and accurately document findings in electronic medical records (EMR systems) Dentrix. Manage patient flow Provide support across different clinic areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility in assisting with general dentistry, pediatrics, or specialty procedures. Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, sterilization procedures, and infection control practices. Familiarity with Dentrix, experience with medical coding is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Ability to perform vital signs assessment Strong understanding of dental instruments, materials, and procedural workflows across multiple specialties including prosthodontics and endodontics. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team and provide outstanding patient care.
