In this vital role, you will support dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and safety. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, dentistry and general dentistry settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in dental imaging, and chairside assisting while contributing to a healthy smile for every patient. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments with precision and care. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained throughout all procedures. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners and digital radiography systems, ensuring accurate medical imaging for diagnosis. Support front desk operations by acting as a dental receptionist—scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and verifying insurance information with professionalism. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse; monitor patient comfort levels during treatments to ensure a positive experience. Maintain infection control protocols by following strict sterilization procedures and proper handling of medical tools and materials. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and performing medical imaging procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for safe clinical operations. Experience working with system such as Eaglesoft Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages Familiarity with dental specialties such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry procedures. Capable of performing administrative duties including answering phones, managing appointments, and coordinating with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
