Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team as a skilled chairside assistant practicing four-handed dentistry for efficiency. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and acting as a dental receptionist when needed to ensure smooth clinic operations. Skills Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking vital signs, and performing X-ray procedures while maintaining aseptic technique. Familiarity with EMR systems like Dentrix Ascend for managing medical records and documentation. Strong understanding of infection control standards aligned with HIPAA compliance to ensure patient safety.
