Pediatric Dental Asisstant (DA)/Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Our fast-paced pediatric dental office in El Cerrito is looking for a full-time registered dental assistant and/or dental assistant who is positive, friendly, relational, and self-motivated. We are a tight-knit team that values clear communication and helping one another to be able to treat our patients with the highest standard of care. We are looking for someone who: Warmly welcomes every patient and make a remarkable first impression. Can fulfill their duties to the best of their ability and be willing to train and grow in their role to serve our patients and co-workers best. Is reliable and finds value in providing optimal care to our patients.

Duties Include:

Sterilization of dental instruments. Providing exceptional patient care, including oral hygiene instruction, dental prophylaxis, and coronal polishing. Chairside assisting in restorative procedures, including those with nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and general anesthesia. Taking accurate dental radiographs. Managing phone correspondence with patients.

Qualifications:

Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Able to multitask. Able to work independently and as a team. Creatively solves problems and creates results. Is self-motivated and a fast learner. Maintains a professional appearance and attitude. Dentrix experience is a plus. Existing coronal polishing and X-ray permits/licenses . BLS certification is required.
