✨ Oral Surgery Dental Assistant πŸ“ In-office | Full-time πŸ“ 4939 Hillsdale Circle, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762 About the Opportunity Poppy Hill Dental Implants & Oral Surgery is opening a brand-new oral surgery practice in El Dorado Hills, CA. We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Surgical Assistant to support our surgeon in a fast-paced, patient-focused surgical environment. This is a hands-on clinical role ideal for someone who thrives in oral surgery, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering a safe, exceptional patient experience. What You ll Do Assist during oral surgery procedures including extractions, implants, and grafting Prepare patients for surgery and review medical histories Monitor and document vital signs during procedures and sedation Support anesthesia and patient recovery Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and operatories Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety protocols Take dental radiographs and imaging Maintain accurate charting and clinical documentation Provide pre- and post-op instructions and patient support Work closely with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow What You Bring 1+ year of dental or surgical assisting experience (oral surgery preferred) CPR/BLS certification California DA or RDA license and X-ray certification preferred Experience with sedation cases or willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate provider needs Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset What We Offer Competitive pay, bonus potential, and annual merit reviews Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) with HDHP health plans PTO, Sick Time, Paid Holidays, Paid Parental Leave Short- and Long-Term Disability 401(k) Plan with Company Match Employee Assistance Program (EAP) FIGS Scrubs Provided We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
