Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant Duties:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Take digital dental x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Perform medical coding and documentation for patient records
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using Open Dental software
• Assist with patient assessment and triage
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures

Qualifications:

• X-ray and CPR/BLS certification
• Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
