Job Description

Our boutique, patient-centered practice in El Segundo is growing, and we are looking for an exceptional Dental Assistant who is passionate about dentistry, technology, aesthetics, and creating an outstanding patient experience. Position Summary The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting Dr. Calleros and the clinical team while helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where both function and patient experience matter. Key Responsibilities Assist chairside during a wide range of dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and preventive care Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures Take digital radiographs, photographs, and assist with diagnostic records Support sterilization and infection control protocols in compliance with California regulations Educate patients on post-operative instructions, home care, and treatment recommendations Maintain accurate clinical notes and assist with treatment documentation Manage inventory, supplies, and operatory readiness Help create a calm, welcoming, and elevated patient experience from start to finish Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to support efficient daily flow Qualifications Current California Dental Assistant certification as required X-ray certification required CPR certification preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Minimum of 1 year of experience Excellent organization, professionalism, and attention to detail Experience with digital dentistry and modern dental workflows preferred Cosmetic dentistry experience is a plus Advanced Clinical Experience We Love to See Candidates with experience in the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: Cosmetic dentistry, including veneers Digital scans using CEREC technology Nightguard delivery and patient education Assisting with dental implant surgery and implant crown delivery What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive, collaborative team culture Opportunity to work with advanced technology and leading-edge dentistry A beautiful, modern practice environment in the heart of El Segundo Opportunities for continued growth and professional development If you love dentistry, appreciate beautiful clinical work, and want to be part of a practice that truly values relationships and excellence, we would love to hear from you.
