Job Description

About us Fontana Dental Clinic is a small business in Fontana, CA. We are professional, agile and fast-paced.
Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting Looking for a Dental assistant /RDA with at least 2 year experience in the dental field. Our office is open 4 days a week Monday-Thursday from 9:00-6:00
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take digital dental x-rays
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Provide and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and taking impressions
  • Medit intraoral scanning (Preferred or willing to learn)
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
  • Assist with patient scheduling and appointment coordination when needed
Qualifications:
  • Highly preferred bilingual (Spanish)
  • Experience working in a dental office or clinic required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • X-ray certification required
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
  • Familiarity with dental coding and billing systems preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must have a positive attitude and great work ethic Salary based on experience.
