Key Responsibilitie s:
Assist dentists during procedures by preparing patients and dental materials such as cements, impressions, and temporary crowns. Collect and document patient histories to help tailor individualized care. Perform sterilization and prepare operatories according to infection control guidelines. Coordinate dental department operations including clinic flow, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Work collaboratively with the Dental Receptionist and fill in for front desk functions as needed. Inventory and order dental materials and supplies with approval. Perform all Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) duties as directed by the Dental Director, including specialized tasks if certified (e.g., sealants). Follow OSHA requirements, especially related to infection control and hazardous waste management. Maintain operatories in compliance with Bloodborne Pathogens Policy. Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental charts and records. Participate in department safety meetings and adhere to all Policies and Procedures. Ensure punctuality and preparedness for dental procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dental Director.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license. High School Diploma or GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. X-Ray license preferred. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years. "TSHL01"
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
