Join our award winning dental team for a boutique dental office in Fremont CA serving patients for 28 years.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Welcome & prepare patients for treatment with a smile and engaging small talk. Ask the patient for any concerns or preference. Obtain dental history and records from the patient and ensure that the health history is updated. Make sure the patient has signed all necessary consents before the treatment starts. Strictly follow infection control guidelines. As the patient is dismissed, prepare a room for the next patient. Take x-rays, and impressions and perform lab work such as temporary crowns and night guards. Always be two steps ahead of the doctor to ensure the doctor doesn't have to wait or ask for instruments or supplies. Be on the schedule and coordinate with the front desk when running late. Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, replenishing as needed. Prepare materials for making impressions and restorations. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Maintain inventory and supply. Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care. Record patient charting and all doctor notes as directed by the doctor. Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to the patient coordinator. Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policy. Help in the front office as needed and be a team player.
